Ronnie schrieb uns vor einigen Tagen eine Mail.

Good greetings to you all and here, in this email, are some hot and sunny solar rays from Adelaide, DownUnder. I hope this finds you in great health.

All here is fantastic but due to a variety of reasons, I have some sad news for you. This year's "Farewell Tour 2012" will be my last tour of the EU.

I would like to take this chance to thank you so much for having me play a concert (or 2!) in your venue over the last 17 years. I have really appreciated it and the way you run your venue.

It has been my absolute pleasure to meet you and play your stage and to be able to tell most of the English-speaking world just how brilliantly I have been treated by the Northern European music organisers and how kind you have been to me! What a remarkable 17 years you have given me!

It would be my happiest moment to visit you and say goodbye in person but, alas, this year's tour is a fast one. I will try to pay my respects to you if and where I can but otherwise, please take this email as a big fat THANK YOU for giving me such fabulous human/life/music/travel experiences over this 17 years.

Please stay well and keep up the excellent work!
